Details of Position - Teach English in China to Young Learners

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic ESL teachers in China. As an ESL teacher, your main focus will be teaching and practicing oral English with young learners. Chinese young learners are enthusiastic but well-behaved looking to have fun and learn English. You will need to be as equally energetic, use fun games, songs, dances or free flowing conversations to get students engaged with the aim of developing students’ interest in language learning and building up our students’ abilities to use English in real life.


Requirements to Teach English in China:

  • Speaks English at a Native or Fluent level.
  • Degree: BA or above (Education, linguistics or English degree given top priority).
  • TEFL / other teaching certificate OR 2 years teaching experience required.
  • Passionate, responsible, and love children.
  • Must be willing to relocate to China.


Responsibilities for ESL Teachers in China:

  • Student age range: 2 – 15 years old.
  • Class size: 10 – 30 students in one class.
  • Class length: 40 minutes to 1 hour containing various creative teaching techniques.
  • You will be assisted by a bilingual Chinese teacher*
  • 32 – 40 Hours Work Week; office hours and teaching hours*


What We Offer our ESL Teachers:

  • Your round-trip airfare to China.
  • Settle-in allowance of USD 900 (equivalent to RMB 6000) *
  • Sponsored legal Z Work Visa.
  • Ground service assistance.
  • Airport Pickup assistance.


Your compensation will include:

  • USD 1700- 2900 per month net income (RMB 10,000 – 20,000) *
  • Provided housing OR stipend USD 210 – 580 (RMB 1500 – 4000) *
  • Chinese public holidays*
  • Paid sick leave*
  • Sponsored Z Visa.
