A Training manager’s responsibilities are; to coordinate with the training heads for identifying the training needs of the organization and the teachers. To develop training modules and organize the training sessions along with the follow-up evaluations on professional and behavioural aspects. To deliver specific trainings for the trainers and/or teachers with high quality. To build the connection and to balance the culture differences between the Chinese and Western cultures. To draw training plans and to manage the trainers, guarantee the suitable content and schedules for the training courses. The trainer team management and report to the superiors. Take full responsibilities for the teaching quality QA of the teachers.
We expect a training manger to be a good motivator, have excellent presentation and IT skills, good time management and organised.
Speaks English at an Idiomatic level.
Speaks Chinese preferred.
Degree: BA or above (Education, linguistics or English degree given top priority).
Degree: MA or PG Diploma in Training and Development from reputed institute preferred.
Experience: TEFL / other teaching certificate OR 2 years teaching experience required.
Experience: 3 – 5 years in western teachers training and management in a school or language institution in China preferred.
Experience: ESL teaching and lived in China preferred.
Relocate: Must be willing to relocate to China.
Working Hours: 45 Hours (Mon - Fri Work Week); normal working hours between summer and winter semester intensive courses.
Summer Semester: 40 days Intensive Summer course; 5 days’ work, 1 day off, 5 days’ work. Compensatory days off after the summer semester has ended *
Winter Semester: 40 days Intensive Summer course; 7 days’ work, 1 day off, 7 days’ work. Compensatory days off after the summer semester has ended *
Curriculum: Based on the Cambridge University Press “Hello English” course, matching teachers with Chinese students using online learning techniques of the custom “Hello English” Listening Course.
Training: Professional teacher development and training programs.
Flight: One way to China.
Visa: Sponsored legal Z Work Visa.
Arrival: Airport Pickup assistance.
On boarding: Ground service assistance.
Insurance: Basic Chinese health insurance.
Net Monthly income: USD 2700 – 3600 (RMB 18,000 – 24,000) before tax *
Base Salary: USD 2700 – 3600 (RMB 18,000 – 24,000) before tax *
Housing: Monthly stipend, amount stipulated in contract by school *
Bonus: End of year bonus *
