Requirements to Teach English in China:
Speaks English at an Idiomatic level.
Degree: BA or above (Education, linguistics or English degree given top priority).
Experience: TEFL / other teaching certificate OR 2 years teaching experience required.
Relocate: Must be willing to relocate to China.
Responsibilities for Teachers in China:
Student age range: 15 – 40 years old*
Class size: 5 – 20 students in one class.
Class length: 1 hour per class.
Working Hours: 35 Hours; office hours, training and teaching hours*
Curriculum: Be responsible for teaching English, including listening, speaking, writing and reading. Fulfil one to one teaching and apply appropriate teaching methods based on the different situation of each student as well as their requirements. Fulfil student activities with other colleagues.
Training: Initial orientation when you arrive.
What We Offer our Teachers:
Arrival: Airport Pickup assistance.
On boarding: Ground service assistance.
Your compensation will include:
Net Monthly income: USD 1900 – 2900 (RMB 13,000 – 20,000) *
Base Salary: USD 1600 – 2200 (RMB 11,000 – 15,000) *
Housing: Monthly stipend USD 220 – 440 (RMB 1,500 – 3,000) *
Bonus: Monthly bonus every month – calculated by teacher’s performance data *
Bonus: Full attendance bonus *
Airfare Bonus: Provided once contract is fulfilled *
Over time: Per class USD 14 – 21 (RMB 100 – 150).
Insurance: Health and Accidental insurance.
Public Holiday: Chinese public holidays off.
Annual Holiday: 1st year teacher has 10 paid annual leave.
Training: 7 Paid days’ hotel accommodation upon arrival.
Visa: Assistance in sponsored legal Z Work Visa in your home country and in China.
TEFL: Provide TEFL certificate for teachers who do not have one USD 440 – 890 (RMB 3,000 – 6,000) *
Flight to China: reimbursed after arrival
