Details of position
At MOBBY your main responsibility will be to STEAM curriculum academic researching. However, your job roles will include being a part of; designing training concepts, upgrading the STEAM curriculum accordingly to the local market; design and develop curriculum products with the Research & Development team; establish an evaluation system; analyse products of competitors and optimize product curriculum content continuously combining the latest technology; instruct and monitor the teachers training and the quality of education; tracking and following the feedback of the students, parents and the market; connecting domestic and international education groups and press with academy information; organize and coordinate conferences, seminars, and joint-projects etc; take part in the educational administration team KPI evaluation.
We expect you to be able to work with multiple departments to heighten our development and team work. We are looking for professionals who can adapt to international teaching methods and environments, are innovative and capable of inspiring students to enhance their critical thinking and innovative spirit.
Requirements to Teach STEAM Curriculum:
Speaks English at an Idiomatic level.
Degree: BA or above required, Computer science or relevant major preferred.
(Top 10 Universities graduates given top priority, MIT or Harvard preferred).
Experience: International educational Research & Development experience preferred.
Experience: Familiar with STEAM curriculum teaching preferred.
Experience: Proficiency in coding language as Java, Swift, Python, C++, etc..
Relocate: Must be willing to relocate to China and be able to adapt to an international teaching environment.<span style="font-family: Verdana;font-size: 8.5pt;"
Responsibilities of STEAM Curriculum Teachers:
Class size: 12 students per class.
Class length: 2 hours per class with a break.
Working Hours: 40 hours (work on Sat & Sun, pick 2 days from Monday to Friday); office hours, training and teaching hours.
Chinese Teaching Assistant: You will be assisted with a bilingual Chinese teacher for each class.
Curriculum: STEAM (Science, Technology, Arts, Maths) education concept which includes children programming courses, scientific thinking courses, mathematical thinking courses, language thinking courses
Training: STEAM teachers will receive training when they first arrive, school will provide tutorials on how to use their specific system at the school.
What We Offer our Teachers:
Flight: One way to China.
Visa: Sponsored legal Z Work Visa.
Arrival: Airport Pickup assistance.
On boarding: Ground service assistance.
Insurance: Basic Chinese health insurance.
Your compensation will include:
Net Monthly income: USD 8,500 – 11,000 (RMB 60,000 – 80,000) *
Base Salary: USD 8,200 – 10,000 (RMB 60,000 – 70,000 RMB) *
Housing: Provided studio or 2-bedroom apartment OR monthly stipend USD 290 - 450 (RMB 2,000 – 3,000) *
Bonus: USD 450 – 590 per quarter (RMB 3000 – 4000).
Airfare Bonus: Provided once contract is fulfilled USD 890 - 1100 (RMB 6,000 – 8,000).
Over time: Hourly rate of USD 14- 17 (RMB 100 – 120) or accumulate time off stipulated in contract by school *
Public Holiday: 11 days in one year.
Annual Holiday: 5 paid days’ annual leave, Christmas Day off.
Sick Leave: 5 paid days’ annual sick leave.

Relocation bonus: One-time payment - paid on first payslip USD 1400 (RMB 10,000).
