Company Description

DENGMIN is the first English training school in Jiangyou city, Sichuan province (one hour and 20 minute train from Chengdu) which only employs foreign teachers from English-speaking countries to create an English-only environment for students. We have two campuses with a comfortable working environment. Our school is quoted by parents as ‘the best and most professional English training school’ in Jiangyou.


Ideal Candidate

We expect our teachers to have passion in teaching and for children, be able to work in a team and have a good sense of teamwork and be experienced in working with children. 


Responsibilities  

  • Planning and delivering lessons to students. 
  • Using electronic media and course ware to teach English efficiently and effectively.
  • Give demos to new students and do marketing activities.


Requirements to work in China:

  • Speaks English at an Idiomatic level.
  • Degree: BA or above (Education, linguistics or English degree given top priority).
  • Experience: TEFL / other teaching certificate OR 2 years teaching experience required.
  • Relocate: Must be willing to relocate to China.


Position Details:

  • Student age range: 2-4 years old.
  • Class size: 15-20 students per class. 
  • Class length: 1 hour per class.
  • Working Hours: 33 hours per week including 25 teaching hours and 8 office hours, from Monday to Friday 8:30 to 12:00am, 2:00-5:30 pm.
  • Curriculum: Our teachers will be provided with a curriculum, they can add their own ideas and teaching style to the classes. This will be discussed in the interview. 
  • Chinese Teaching Assistant: You will be assisted with a bilingual Chinese teacher.
  • Training: One – two days paid training. 

 

What We Offer our Teachers:

  • Flight: One way to China. 
  • Visa: Sponsored legal Z Work Visa.
  • Arrival: Airport Pickup assistance.
  • On boarding: Ground service assistance.


Your compensation will include:

  • Month Base Salary: USD 2000- 2600 (14000 - 18000 RMB) after tax.
  • House:Free apartment provided.


Additional Payments: 

  • Airfare Bonus: Up to USD 900 (6000 RMB) provided the one year contract is fulfilled.
  • Demo class bonus: calculated as teaching hours, around USD 22 (150 RMB) per hour.
  • Insurance: Commercial insurance. 
  • Public Holiday: Chinese public holidays and 25th December paid off. 
  • Annual Holiday: 5 days paid annual leave. Summer holidays 2 months and winter holidays 1 month, apartment can be reserved if teachers go travelling but unpaid during the time; if teachers can work during holidays, salary can be calculated as class salary.
  • Sick Leave: paid sick leave 5 days per year.
