Ideal Candidate

We are looking for dynamic and open-minded people with a passion for education, interested in providing fun and interactive lessons to students. You must be lively and energetic while teaching and passionate about teaching YLs. We would like presenters who are out-going, responsible and creative.


Responsibilities 

XES TV Presenter seeks a full-time Presenter who will make teaching videos by cooperating with the Chinese teachers to develop and polish lesson scripts. You will practice and deliver the lesson while being recorded, targeting students from 6 to 15 years old (G1-G9). For each lesson, a teaching video will last 5-40 mins (depending on the level of students).


Requirements to teach in China:

  • Speaks English at an Idiomatic level.
  • Degree: BA or above (arts, drama, theatre, acting given top priority).
  • Experience: Preferably with over 2 years acting experience in films, drama, TV programs etc.
  • Experience: TEFL / other teaching certificate OR 2 years teaching experience required.
  • Relocate: Must be willing to relocate to China. 


Position Details:

  • Student age range: 6-15 years old.
  • Class size: Unlimited.
  • Class length: 5-40 minutes (depending on the level of students).
  • Working Hours: From Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 6:30pm.
  • Curriculum: Appointed teaching materials provided by Xueersi.


What We Offer our Teachers:

Your compensation will include:

Monthly income: USD 4400~6500 (RMB 30000 ~45000) before tax.


Additional Payments:

  • Airfare Bonus: Roundtrip ticket can be reimbursed once the contract is full filled.
  • Insurance: Basic Chinese health insurance and social medical insurance. 
  • Public Holiday: Chinese public holidays paid off.
  • Annual Holiday: 1st year teacher has 7 paid days’ annual leave.
  • Sick Leave: 50% paid with doctor’s note.
