School Description 

American Baby International Education Ltd. (ABIE) is a high-end American English education brand. ABIE focuses on providing a wide range of English language learning opportunities for children aged 3-12. As a China's Ministry of Commerce registered brand, and a partner of Pearson Education, ABIE has over 400 centers in 100 cities throughout 27 provinces.

 

Details of Position: 

We expect teachers to be lively and outgoing, have a passion for the student’s education and be patient with children.

  • The teacher needs to follow ABIE’s teaching philosophies and methodologies.
  • Prepare lesson plan and other materials before the class begins.
  • Interact well with the students and maintain the class order at the same time.
  • Give feedback to the parents in time after class.
  • Have the good working attitude and teamwork ability, and sometimes need to cooperate with other departments.


Requirements to Teach English in Haining China: 

  • Speaks English at an Idiomatic level.
  • Degree: BA or above (Education, linguistics or English degree given top priority).
  • Experience: TEFL / other teaching certificate OR 2 years teaching experience required.
  • Relocate: Must be willing to relocate to China.


Responsibilities for Teachers in Haining China: 

  • Student age range: 3-12 years old.
  • Class size: Maximum 12 students per class.
  • Class length: 45 minutes per class.
  • Working Hours: Total 40 Hours per week including 25 teaching hours per week and 15 office hours, from Tuesday to Friday 13:30 to 20:30, weekends 9:30 to 18:30.
  • Curriculum: We have appointed teaching materials “My little world” “Pearson”, teachers will create their own lesson plans accordingly.
  • Chinese local teacher: You will be assisted with a Chinese teacher.
  • Training: On-going training throughout the year – provided by training department team of teachers (Foreign and Chinese) calculated into teachers’ office hours. 


What We Offer our Teachers: 

  • Airfare to China: One way flight to China is provided by school. (Ticket fee will be deducted from the last month salary if teacher cannot fulfill 1year contract)
  • Visa: Assistance in Legal Z Work Visa
  • TEFL: Free TEFL Program provided before arrival
  • Arrival: Airport Pickup assistance. 
  • On boarding: Ground service assistance. 


Your compensation will include: 

Monthly income: USD 2140- 2850 (RMB 15,000 - 20,000) before tax 

  • Base USD 2140- 2850 (RMB 15,000 - 20,000) before tax
  • Housing: Accommodation is provided or USD 145 (RMB1000) /month housing allowance.
  • Demo class bonus: USD 7 (50 RMB) per class.
  • Contract renew and completion bonus: USD 720 (RMB 5,000) will be provided when teacher renew and complete the second year contract.
  • Insurance: Accidence insurance.
  • Public Holiday: Chinese public holidays paid off, Christmas and New Year's Day paid off. 
  • Sick Leave: fully paid sick leave 3-days.
