Hampson English was founded in March 2002 as part of Beijing Hampson Online Culture Development Ltd. Hampson English is a high-end English training brand and the first Chinese foreign private tutor featured foreign language research and training institute. It is a private educational organization authorized by Beijing Municipal Education Commission. Our training school for students aged from 3 years old to adults

We expect our teachers to be passionate about teaching, caring and nurturing. They must excel at fostering curiosity, creativity and critical thinking. 


Responsibilities:

  • Planning and providing lessons to learners.
  • Using electronic media and courseware to teach English efficiently and effectively.
  • Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement.
  • Participating in social activities with students organized by your school.


Requirements to teach in China:

  • Speaks English at an Idiomatic level.
  • Degree: BA or above (Education, linguistics or English degree given top priority).
  • Experience: Two years ESL teaching or related work experience.
  • Certificates: TESOL/TEFL/CELTA/DELTA certificates are required if you do not have two years teaching experience. 
  • Relocate: Must be willing to relocate to China.


Position Details:

  • Student age range:3 - 12 (mainly); 12 - 50 (teenagers and adults).
  • Class size: One on One – Five students per class. 
  • Class length: 45 minutes (small group); 50 mins (one on one class).
  • Working Hours: 35 hours (Teaching + office )per week, (can be scheduled between 08:00 and 21:30 from Wednesday to Sunday).
  • Curriculum: General English, Business English, IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, ACT, SAT, subject English ETC, it will be introduced in the interview.
  • Training: Paid training which will be carried out during office hour.


What We Offer our Teachers:

  • Visa: Sponsored legal Z Work Visa.
  • Arrival: Airport Pickup assistance.
  • On boarding: Ground service assistance.


Your compensation will include:

  • Monthly income: USD 2200 - 3500 (15000 - 24000 RMB) before tax including housing allowance.


Additional Payments:

  • Airfare Bonus: USD 900 (6000 RMB) will be reimbursed when the one-year contract is fulfilled.
  • Over time: USD 26 (170 RMB) per hour for each one to one, USD 31 (200 RMB) per hour for each small group.
  • Housing allowance: 1500 RMB\month 
  • Insurance: Accident insurance.
  • Public Holiday: Chinese public holidays. 
  • Annual Holiday: 5 days paid leave.
  • Sick Leave: 50% of the day’s salary is deducted (need to provide a the doctor's note for sick leave.)


Other benefits include:

  • Teacher referral bonus: 300 – 1,000 RMB per teacher.
  • Student contract renewal bonus 50 – 500 RMB per student.
