Profile Photo * Why is a photo needed? Unlike other cultures, most Asian cultures prefer to see a professional photo on a resume. In China, a professional photo is standard practice on all resumes. Culturally, China puts emphasis on personal relationships & they want to feel like they can relate to you when assessing your experience and achievements. We understand this may be different than what you are used to, but it's just one example of how you will experience different cultural norms when working overseas.
